Outside The Frame Arts, Manchester
Co-director of a new arts collective in Manchester aims to raise the profile of underrepresented and marginalized communities by giving a platform to those absent from the mainstream and using the arts to challenge the status quo. Our current project ‘Platform for Palestinian Arts’ aims to shine a light on Palestinian writers by exploring playwrights and poets with diverse communities through a series of creative writing workshops to inspire new writing.
The Edge Theatre and Arts Centre Manchester
Weekly Facilitator and director with an adult theatre company for learning disabled actors called, 'Expressive Edge', we devise 2 shows a year
Speech Bubbles (Peoplescape), Moston
Weekly drama workshops for kS1 to develop, communication, confidence and well-being, A story drama approach placing the child at the centre of the activity, who become at different times, author, performer and audience
Cybertots Nurseries London
External creative consultant for the three nurseries, supporting stuff regularly in planning how to activities creatively.

Lesbian Immigration Support Group (LISG), Manchester, 2014 - 2015
Project manager and facilitator with a group of refugee and asylum seekers seeking asylum for their sexuality, alongside a digital artist to create a stop animation
Community Arts North West, 2014
Artist for a refugee women’s project called ‘Heart’s Core’ creating a piece of theatre to be performed at ‘Z Arts’ in Manchester, includes assisting the project manager, planning with artistic team and facilitation
Purple Patch Arts North West, 2011 - 2014 Delivered Weekly, drama, movement and art workshops with a group of adults with learning difficulties, at Mencap in Trafford
Burnley Youth Theatre, 2010 - 2013
Youth Arts Worker in implementing, developing, project managing, and delivering the Core Outreach Programme. Worked with young people and children in a range of outreach settings, facilitating drama workshops and devising/directing theatre productions. Some examples of projects included: project manager and director for a play about forced marriage, wrote and directed an adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a theatre exchange project with Northern Ireland, created four films and a piece of multimedia theatre about knife crime with young offenders, mentoring young people to be facilitators and leaders, facilitator for INDRA: theatre for social change group as well as various drama and movement workshops for children and young people with disabilities

Curious Minds Creative Partnerships North West, 2010 - 2011 Worked in schools across the North West in collaboration with other art practitioners
Mencap Manchester, 2009 - 2010 Project Manager for action research project for young people (aged 16 to 23 years) with learning disabilities. Developed an action theatre piece of research with young people with learning disabilities, of which the findings were presented as a piece of drama that toured schools. Co-ordinated a conference to share and process the findings, including a workshop on inclusivity and theatre.
